A few years ago just after getting DSL we bought a house where the only internet service available was dial-up. Now that was a real bummer! Then we bought this house that had two internet service choices, dial-up or satellite. The satellite is faster than dial-up but you are subject to mosquitos flying through the beam, meandering clouds and FAPing so at best you end up with slight faster than dial-up service. At worst you have nothing and you pay through the nose for that nothing!
Our vacation home has real high speed internet! I'm not kidding. This connection is amazing! I can easily do a good portion of my traffic building strategies for my blogs in well under a half hour at our vacation home while at home it would take me the best part of a day, easily to accomplish the same. I'm amazed at how much more productive I can be just at blogging! It does make a huge difference.
