Those bloggers who use the Blogger platform for blogging know that Blogger was set to read only for about twelve hours over the past twenty-four hours. It sounds like something went wrong with their recent maintenance resulting in the necessity of having to remove all posts made after Wednesday, May 11 7:37 AM to resolve the problem then restore the posts. I was disappointed at losing a bit of blogging time but all things considered was not overly concerned. Blogger seldom has outages and if they do they generally are for short periods of time or only partial outages. It is a good idea though to back-up your blogs on a regular basis regardless of your blogging host. That way if the host goes completely down you at least have the file to restore the blog posts and comments.
